ABOUT ME

I'm 32 years old and have been living in New Zealand for the past six years. I got married last year to a New Zealander (Belinda). I consider myself be be somewhat of an adventurer and enjoy pushing myself physically and mentally. I have been lucky enough to experience the PCT and Appalachain Trail and also cycled across Canada a few years ago. My wife and I have done a small cycling trip through NZ and now wanting to do something a little bigger! I really enjoy teaching, however the last six months before leaving NZ I won a scholarship to learn about another field of work (I chose engineering) and somehow relating it back to teaching. It was an amazing experience and has given me back my yearning to teach.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the CS experience but starting to see real value in it. My wife and I stayed with our first host in Denali National Park and had a wonderful time. Once we have finished our mammoth trip we hope to offer our home up to others whether we are living in New Zealand or Canada.
