About Me

*Update 11th February 2023: I am currently on a very busy schedule. So, I would consider it only if you need it urgently or significantly last of the last minute requests.
Hopefully, I can be back to hosting soon.
Sorry! 🥲🥲

**Update : 10th September 2022**

I am in the process of moving to a new apartment, so until everything is finalized, I am not in the position to host anyone for sometime.

*Update: 6th August, 2021*

I finally got fully vaccinated against covid-19 with Pfizer!! Now that the lockdown is no more and the borders are cautiously opening again, I am looking forward to travelling soon and also accepting guests.

⚠️⚠️Please note that I would accept only those who are vaccinated (Or those with a negative PCR test not more than 72hrs). My apartment block/building 🏢 has many old people. Sorry, I keep public health safety first!

**26th November, 2018** A newbie to Couchsurfing (so please excuse if I have zero reference for the moment).

A guy who has a cheerful mood almost 24x7!
Have an adventurous spirit, so I would probably say yes to almost anything exciting and legal!

I am a veterinarian...so MAY be I would be able to drop in an advice or two if you have/love pets!! :P :P

Love cooking, dancing with no care who's watching me do it, pencil sketching and writing.

I love beers and trying to discover wines but I do not smoke (though I have no problem hanging around with those who smoke).

I do some tid-bits of writing poems and prose along-with sketching in my journal. Hopefully, make it to a Pulitzer winning writer someday (dream big, right!). LOL!!

Currently on a mission to travel and taste Europe. Starting this December 2018!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess it's pretty much the same with everyone here: Travel and meet new people/culture!!

I was introduced to this by a friend when I arrived in Debrecen and casually mentioned about my desire for backpacking solo trips in Europe! So yes, I would love to find a place to sleep after having explored a new city, getting to know the city/culture from a local resident, have some good times with my host....and also yes, having not much to worry about having a hole in my wallet!!
But it's not just about the money, right? In return, I would love to host anyone with a passion of travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I am not genre and/or language specific and so I listen to almost all types of songs...it depends on my mood! It may be from country songs while I am travelling to having a sound sleep to the soothing melodies of Enya!

Movies:
I like Hollywood, Japanese, Korean and Thai movies.
This sounds silly but I have watched only a handful of Bollywood movies even though I am Indian (not saying they are bad though).
Here again, not genre specific but stopped watching horror films after ''The Conjuring'' :-D ( I can tell you why when we meet up)

Books:
I really do enjoy reading novels. English novels. Prefer fiction.
Currently switching between "Origin (Dan Brown)" and "The Alchemist (you know the author!)" depending on my mood!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, may not be that amazing but I managed to watch a Euro Cup 2020 live in the Ferenc Puskas stadium!

I am a huge football fan and witnessing an international match (that too in the knock out stage) is something special to me!
Simple joys of life I guess!

Teach, Learn, Share

May be able to teach a few card tricks. Or a recipe for a super easy, quick and tasty Manipuri stew!! We will see about this!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking! I have been staying away from my home for the last 6-7 years, so kinda cook regularly for myself since then.
Not saying I am a Michelin star rated chef, but I can make some of my traditional dish/cuisine with a twist of my own....hahaha! (both veg and non-veg).

P.S.: I leave little/no mess and would tidy up before I leave the room. Every single day. I give my 100 AND 10 percent promise on this!!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Ukraine, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
