What am I like? Well, people say I'm an easy-going person, a little bit of a dreamer ("...but I'm not the only one..." you know the rest). Anyway, I love travelling and keen travellers. Vous pouvez me parler également en français (la langue la plus bienvenue de toutes), entiendo un poquito de español w be7ki 3arabi kamaan. ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Is there a better way of travelling and meeting people? I sincerely think that if people come to you in good will and are willing to share with you a bit of their lifes, their culture, their experience, it is rewarding enough to accept them without expecting to get anything material back from them. The human experience is priceless!

Books: Anything by Amin Maalouf (amazing essays and historical novels) and Karel Capek (I think if the whole world read his astonishing novels, dramas and essays, many things might change, you know :-D). And among others: Stefan Zweig, Dostoevsky, Oscar Wilde, Mathias Énard, Kamel Daoud, Orhan Pamuk, Abdellah Taïa, Tahar Ben Jelloun, Amélie Nothomb...

I love comics, especially those by Guy Delisle, Joe Sacco, Marjane Satrapi, Riad Sattouf, but also some "classics" like Watchmen, Calvin & Hobbes and Tintin.
