Starting August 9 from my home state New York, I'm sitting out on a road trip journey in my DIY camper minivan. I'll be passing through the following states: Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, and Illinois.

My main focus is to visit national parks and camp. I'd appreciate any local suggestions and recommendations. I'm also looking forward to stopping by anyone who can host me along the way for temporary refreshment and potentially an overnight stay or camping in your yard. I would also welcome any travel buddy for my journey and am potentially willing to share my minivan and tent with them.
