Overview
About Me
** Visiting; Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, and North Carolina in early January.
I’m an engineering science student based in New York who deeply values meaningful human connection, cultural exchange, and learning through lived experiences. After intense semesters of college life, I love taking short, intentional breaks to reset, explore new places, and connect with people whose stories broaden my perspective.
I’m naturally curious, reflective, and easygoing. I enjoy thoughtful conversations, shared meals, quiet mornings, and learning how others see the world. I believe the best part of travel isn’t just places, but the people who make those places feel alive.
I’m very clean, respectful of personal space, and mindful of house rules. I don’t smoke and I have pet and tobacco allergies, so pet-free and smoke-free homes are especially appreciated. I’m perfectly comfortable with simple sleeping arrangements and always aim to leave a place better than I found it.
Outside of academics, I enjoy nature, long walks, light hiking, documentaries, history, poetry, and deep conversations about life, culture, and purpose. I also love learning from people who live intentionally and generously.
More than a free stay, I value genuine connection, kindness, and shared moments. Whether it’s a short stay or a meaningful conversation over tea, I’m grateful for every opportunity to learn from the people I meet along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy classical music, history and geography books, and documentaries. I also appreciate both Bollywood and Hollywood films, especially those with strong storytelling, cultural depth, or historical themes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’m the first in my family to step outside the traditional, predictable path and explore life beyond a fixed routine. Choosing curiosity, learning, and exploration over a conventional 9–5 mindset has reshaped how I see the world and my place in it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach, learn, and share.
I have a strong interest in history, geopolitics, and understanding how past events shape the world we live in today. I genuinely enjoy thoughtful discussions and learning from people with different perspectives and life experiences.
I’m naturally curious and always eager to learn, whether through conversation, books, travel, or simply observing how others live. I also enjoy sharing my own life experiences and travel stories, especially when they lead to meaningful dialogue and mutual understanding.
