I enjoy meeting new people and listening to their unique story. I've learned so much from others and from the places I've visited. I only hope I can pass on at least some of my experiences and appreciation for the people and world around me to others I meet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only participated by surfing, but now that I'm home from traveling, I'd like to try the hosting game soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couchsurfed once in Munich, but that was enough to convince me that I should get more involved in the community, whether it be meeting people for coffee or a drink, hosting, or meeting new people on the road and crashing their couch. I am traveling now, but would love to start hosting when I return home.

There are too many to count, but sleeping on the white sand beaches of the Salmon River in Idaho under the star filled sky with no one around has to top the list.

Others include:
-Sitting on top of South Sister in Central Oregon
-Driving an ATV across Santorini
-Snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park
-Reeling in an Halibut in Alaska
-Watching the Tuscan sunset over Florence
-Snorkeling through shipwrecks in the San Blas Islands
-Hiking to and swimming under waterfalls in Kauai, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Guatemala

I have played several different collegiate sports and love to play just about anything. I coach kids in basketball and soccer at home and love to teach these sports. I would love to learn more about gardening, setting up several sustainable fruits and veggies for my house, brewing beer, playing the guitar or piano, and building a tiny house.
