About Me

Hi,

I'm Roland, from Hungary. While I was born in Debrecen, the second largest (and in my opinion, the most beautiful city in the countryside), I've decided to move to Budapest in 2016 to study and to live as well. And while Budapest is a really exciting city, I still cannot wait to see the world so I try to gather as much money as I can to start my dream of travelling around the globe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As mentioned in the "About me" session, I plan to travel to as many places as possible, since I'm a student (currently doing Psychology MA), I have to find alternative options so the journey can stay affordable.

Though I registered long ago, I am just about to try Couchsurfing in real. I had only one try so far but I hope for a lot more from now on and of course I will share my home as well as soon as I have a proper flat for that:) (Currently it is banned by my landlord.)

Interests

Just normal things: when I'm not at uni, I hang out with friends or with my girlfriend, go to cinema (I love movies), read or just walk around the city. Budapest is simply amazing, so you should definitely come and check it out: just strolling around means more excitement than you can imagine!
I also like video games but I haven't really played anything for a while now.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into Fantasy, so Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings are the best, but of course I also love the Song of Ice and Fire, and the Witcher series. Sci-fi is also cool, loved the Asimov series.
I also appreciate any Drama or quality Comedy in movies and books as well, but I find it harder and harder to find the good ones. I just love the classic ones, like The Green Mile.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Deciding to go to a Paris trip without knowing anyone from the company I was travelling with. I had 1 hour to decide to go or not and it was one of the best decision I've ever made.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Currently I rent a room only, so unfortunately I cannot host anyone for a while, but plan is to buy a flat, so after that, you are most welcome to stay at my place.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Spain
