About Me
Hey,
I'm staying in Boston because I have the great opportunity to do an exchange semester at Boston College. As one of my goals that I set for my stay in the US is travelling to as many places as possible in the north-east and beyond and getting to know as many interesting and different people as possible.
After spending one month in the Boston area and meeting lots of students both from the US and exchange I'm now eager to go explore. As I'm quite a spontaneous person sometimes I have an idea and want to do it right away. That's what happened yesterday. I saw a picture of NYC and decided to go there on the weekend. Of course that's not that easy especially as the pope is visiting the big apple this weekend as well. And I guess he must have decided to stay in a hostel because all of them are booked out.
But however, I'm in general a person that likes big cities as well as the nature. I've grown up in the Austrian alps and was used to go hiking and skiing. Yet, living in a small village where everybody knows everything also lets me enjoy the possibilities and diversity of big cities as well.
On weekends I do like to go to bars or pubs and from time to time clubbing. I do prefer bars though just because it's possible to communicate without loosing ones voice.
So I hope this platform helps me meeting new people and I'm sure it's gonna be a great time travelling the US.
Oh... One thing I nearly forgot. I love food - so if you know good places or very exotic food I'm totally down for that.
Interests
I like reading, experiencing new unfamiliar things, travel (as everyone on here). Sports-wise I do like hiking, skiing and swimming most.
I like to go to the cinema.
And I have a fable for rooftop bars if my account allows it.
