As a wanderer between theory and practice, I made some contribution to both music management and singing in recent years. As managing director, I first promoted the Camerata Vocale Freiburg and established this outstanding chamber choir on the international festival scene, before steering the Balthasar Neumann Choir and Ensemble and German conductor Thomas Hengelbrock for three years. I am head of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Music Academy since 2014. As a high tenor I was initially active in professional and radio choirs, until ensembles with soloists moved into my focus. I feel particularly at home in the music of the Baroque and Renaissance periods and in a cappella Jazz.

As a young men I was always glad to have many friends all over the world which hosted me when I was around and looking for a place to sleep. Now I am happy to give back some of the generosity that I enjoyed. Moreover I'm always open to get to know interesting people.
