About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Build memories worth remembering for life
ABOUT ME
I grew up in the South of France. After graduation I have spent a mere decade in Japan (student then civil servant), then now about 4 years in Korea where I'm currently trying to make a living as a teacher.
My whole life is about trying to reconcile a self-amazing lazyness with my will to keep learning and traveling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As a surfer, I make a point of not being too much of an annoyance, especially since I have to cope with that appalling reputation we French people have as the worst guests on Earth (and not the best hosts either)...-_-;
I will be glad to help out travellers to Seoul. Having also extensively traveled Japan, I can probably give tips about it, too.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, I have been a surfer at different locations in Europe, participated in a couple of events in Norway, Japan and Czech Rep. At my small flat in Seoul, I hosted folks from France, Slovakia, Poland, Germany and the U.S.A.
Tips for Japan & Korea: CS is virtually the best way to get in touch with interesting, English speaking locals; but it may get tricky to use it for accommodation purposes, due to local specs. Plan well in advance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cannot choose between:
-watching sunrise from the top of Mt Fuji, surrounded by a "Banzai!" yelling crowd;
-driving through the wastelands of Planet Mars (a.k.a. Death Valley), with my favorite music playing;
-hiking mountains in Lapland under the midnight sun, dusk on my right and dawn on my left, at the same time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be more than happy to teach the languages I know.
I'm curious to hear about any country I haven't visited yet. I also like to listen to scientists able to explain their job to neophytes.
