About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Me, I'm still on the road, headin' for another joint.
ABOUT ME
Just finished up study and now I'm hitting the global road...
I'm an ENFP for all you Myer-Briggs personality people out there. Love meeting people and discussing the deeper and finer things in life. I also like sunsets, long walks on the beach and....wait, wrong website
Current aspirations include learning Spanish, seeing Leonard Cohen, making it to sleepy Asbach, stopping watching the OC in Cairo (it is one of the only shows here in English), consuming as many milkshakes as possible around the world and trekking in Patagonia.
I LOVE music, could not imagine life without it. I love seeing the way music differs between cultures whilst still retaining so many universal aspects. I don't play an instrument though.
I firmly believe that there are universal desires and similarities from every culture around the world that outweigh any petty differences we point out to divide ourselves.
I plan to work in an International Government Organisation at some point in the future and want to study international law in the future to achieve this. I am passionate about synthesising economic development and conflict prevention to make the world a better place.
I also love reading and learning about almost anything with current passions being astronomy and evolutionary biology.
PHILOSOPHY
Everybody has a unique set of experiences that means everybody has something to teach and to learn from others. This world is a large place but things like CS make it smaller. Learning about other people and breaking down barriers is the best way forward...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting and surfing. Anyone visiting the humble little Rhineland backwater of Mainz is more than welcome to spend a night or three on the spacious sofa bed in our lounge room.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only hosted once but it was so much fun. I stole two couchsurfers that my sister was hosting and ended up hosting them for a week. It got me really excited about the prospect of traveling and meeting new people.
Interests
AFL, football (the soccer variety), international relations (especially Middle Eastern and African politics), reading (a LOT of non-fiction), studying, learning, life!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, I was actually the ring-bearer at Barack Obama's wedding before he was so well known. OK, that's a lie - but that would make a cool story huh?
I did get lost in the Blue Mountains once when I was 15 for two days on a group hike. We got found by a helicopter and then lead out by the rescue police...
