Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Rom a solo traveler who enjoys simple things: good conversations, local culture, and discovering cities through the people who live there.
I’m respectful, clean, and very easygoing. During the day I usually work remotely from cafés or co-working spots, so I’m quite independent and not around the house much. I always respect house rules and personal space.
I like meeting people from different backgrounds and sharing stories, but I’m also totally fine keeping things calm and quiet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, Couchsurfing is about human connection, not just a free place to sleep.
I enjoy meeting locals, understanding how people really live, and exchanging cultures in a natural way. I’m not looking to be hosted like a guest in a hotel just to share space respectfully, be grateful, and maybe have a good conversation if it feels right.
I truly appreciate hosts who open their homes, and I do my best to be a positive, low-maintenance presence.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a mix of music from chill and electronic to rock and hip-hop, depending on the mood.
I like movies that are either inspiring or thought-provoking, but I also enjoy light, easy films.
I’m not a heavy reader while traveling, but I enjoy books about personal growth, psychology, travel stories, and real-life experiences.
I’m always happy to get recommendations from locals 🙂
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I decided to travel solo for a long period, leaving my comfort zone behind, working remotely while exploring new countries and cultures.
It taught me independence, flexibility, and how valuable human connections are especially with people I would never have met otherwise.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share travel stories, perspectives from different cultures, and good conversations.
I’m always happy to learn about local life, food, traditions, and how people really live in their city.
