About Me

Where I come From : New Caledonia (French Island in the Pacific close to Vanuatu, Australia and NZ).

What I do in life : After travelling around Europe for 1 year and half, and having met a lot of great people, I'm now working in Chile.

How am I : 1.78m tall, 72 kg,... Hum, that's not the point... I'm basically a happy guy, loving to do lot of different stuff, really easy to live, curious and open minded. I'm an active guy and I don't fear doing things alone.

What I love : Travel and discover original places and people , music, nature, sport (I'm quite sporty), eating and drinking (kind of epicurean).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet great people, share values and culture, speak different languages and sometimes find people that can welcome me in their life for a week maximum (when I'm on trip). Then,

What I offer : I can cook, I can clean and help you with day to day routine. I'm also a pleasant company and I'll follow you for everything you offer.

What I want from you : A place @ your Home (I'm generaly traveling with an inflatable matress so it's not necessary to have a couch nor a bed), any advice of things to do/place to see (from your personnal experience in your area or in other country you've visited). Also, I'll be extremely pleased if you take me to some place you like (restaurant, pubs, night club, museum, park...)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music I like : Reggae is the kind of music I listen the more (habits from an Islander...) but I like diversity in music. I'm very sensible to music and I really love to discover artists/style I don't know.
Apart Reggae, you can find in my playlist : classic, oldies hits, jazz, funk, soul, dub, electro, house, psy trance, french rap, hip hop (old school ones), touareg music, kaneka (musique from my country - check "Gurejele - Waipeipegu" for example)

Music I don't really like : Hard/death metal and all that kind of music where you can't hear anything but a indistinct noise on wich even the singer seems to be vomiting

Movies : As for music, I'm really open minded in movies. I don't have typical movie that I like because I think it depend on the mood you are when you want to see it.
I enjoy good movies even if they are quite old (eg. "It happenned between noon and 3", great movie from 1976 wich I recommend). I'm not really a series watcher as I can count on my hand the number of series I've watched in my life. (I'm only following GOT)

Litterature : I like reading books. One I've really enjoyed was "Ebene - aventure africaine" of Ryszard Kapuscinski (Polish journalist that describe africa from the 60's to the 80's).
I mostly read in french. At the moment I'm reading Contes et Nouvelles de Guy de Maupassant.
