I'm very passionate about movies and comics (which I my research is specialized in, as unconventional as it may sound), but am interested in every form of art and culture. I've starred in a few short films and in theater plays, but lately, thanks to my girlfriend, various sports have started to become my thing...
I'm French and German, which is a pretty fun mix, if you ask me. If you pay attention to it, you may discover my more German characteristics beneath the French surface.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be able to travel everywhere in the world while also meeting new people and cultures! I've seen wonderful things in the world, but what I love most is getting to know the real folks who live in a place - not the people tourists usually get to mee.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Nujabes, J Dilla, Muse...Basically everything, but I've gotten into chill hip-hop, as of late.

Movies: Oldboy, Birdman, everything by Christopher Nolan, Wes Anderson...A mix of artsy movies and blockbusters, quite honestly.

Books: Jacques le Fataliste, Madame Bovary, Asterios Polyp... Those all sound pretentious, but I promise you, they're fantastic and I'd love to explain why I think they are.

This category is missing series, so I'm adding those : Arrested Development, Better Call Saul, Deutschland 83. You may not always have heard of those, but I promise they're well worth watching. Obviously, I also watch all of the really popular stuff.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak quite a few languages and love teaching them (it's my future job, after all). Also, I can teach you a lot about the art of comics, as they're my field of research.
Regarding learning, I'm very willing to get to know new cultures and get to learn the cities I'm in.
