Hello! My name is Romain, I am 21 years old and I love discovering new places, new people and new cultures! I am someone who loves learning new stuff and who is open minded about lots of subjects.
In my opinion, life is worth sharing and talking with people from different countries and culture is the best way to learn whats its like to live.
I love nature, for me forests are places where you could spend days looking at the animals, trees, moving clouds, etc. I am vegetarian because of my love for animals and nature.
If I had to describe myself in 3 words, I'd say crazy, open minded and funny. I enjoy life as it comes and want to live as many experiences as possible !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I installed Couchsurfing app for my trip in South-east Asia and I want to meet people in Switzerland or anywhere else in the world and share moments with them :) - And now that my trip in South east Asia, I want to meet people from Europe during my Interrail trip!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am someone who listens every kind of music, rap, electro, reggae, traditionnal music, classical, etc etc.! My favourite artists are Queen, Frank Sinatra, Eminem, Bob Marley. I love discovering new songs or new type of songs. I discovered throat singing recently and I really like it!
I like to read when I find a good or interesting book, my favourite kind is travelling books.
I love watching movies! My favourite ones are Interstellar, The Prestige, Inception and Fight Club. As you can see, I am of fan of movies with a plot twist at the end hahaha, but I also like action movies, sport ones, fantastic and super hero ones, etc. ! I did a work at college about propaganda in american movies and it was fascinating? I enjoyed doing it, even if it took a looot of time hahaha!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling to Asia has been an extraordinary adventure! I travelled for 2 months alone, meeting amazing people (including ones from Couchsurfing). I could go wherever I want, whenever and I saw incredible landscapes, a culture completely different from mine, new stories and new adventure.
This trip taught me so many things about life, people and I changed a lot during this trip!

I want to share my experiences, to tell how I live in Switzerland and how is life there. I want to share things with my hosts, like cooking, lessons, learning new things from both cultures etc.
