About Me

Hello there! I'm a young French guy hungry for new adventures and always interested in talking to people. Right now I'm about to go travel Argentina!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some friends told me about couchsurfing and it sounded amazing, so I want to give it a try! I've heard so many stories about awesome hosts and unique experiences. My family also hosts travelers in a family home in Normandie, and though not everyone there is interesting, it's such a pleasure to exchange with people and share a unique piece of time with them. I'll be accepting guests as soon as I come back from my trip!

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of music, from pop-rock (Red Hot or Dire Straits) to french rap, with a side of metal (like Nightwish). I don't know much about classical or jazz music but would love to!
For books, Terry Pratchett's Discworld is my go-to: it's so vivid and surprising, everytime. Italo Calvino's If on a winter's night a traveler is another favorite of mine. It's a book about books! And particularly the beginning of books, which is often the best part of a book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My recent internship in Abu Dhabi. I stayed for two months in this absurd place that tried to trick me into thinking it's a nice country; beware, it's not. It's a bunch of fancy buildings and roads thrown together in the middle of the desert, on the back of exploited workers. The place is surreal.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make a killer lentil and leek risotto or the French classic pomme de terres sautées. If you're interested, I can teach it to you; otherwise, you can just eat it :)
I love discussing art. Any kind of art, especially new. I have a particular knack for music.
Finally, I regularly find myself in the middle of deep conversations. Those are the best. Learning about one's experience and life stories is always a delight, and I hope I can share this with you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

First off, I'd like to meet local people and get a feel for the country/city. I hope we'll get along well and will share some things, be it walks, talks, meals or any other activities. I would particularly love discovering part of the town with you! I'm very adaptable to any expectations you have; I don't want to take too much of your space or be too distant to your liking.
