About Me

ENGLISH
I'm a 22 year-old bipedal student living in France.

After two years studying in Strasbourg (a city in the eastern part of France, close to Germany's border), I moved to Lyon to get my bachelor in geography. I graduated and took a year off to travel around Europe. I'm currently pursueing a Master degree in numeric geography (basically I do maps, which is THE BEST).

I love travelling so that I can meet new people (which is a bit cliché, but also explains my presence here)! I see how hard that can be to travel moneyless, or to find a host, so I propose myself to host people (if I'm available). I live in Saint-Etienne with three flatmates (who are my friends btw), and I must say that music, a few beers and political discussions rythm our daily life. We're willing to invite you at our home if you wish to spend some time with us!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet fellow travelers and share our respective experiences. We are used to seize people across tales or books, I'd rather consider that meeting them is the best way to understand them. It cannot be but learning and meaningful for one's viewpoint about the world.

CS is also useful to visit cities and villages in a different way, across the host's eyes if she/he is available to show around. Of course CS allows to travel on a modest budget, but I wouldn't say it is its main goal. Thanks to CS, you get to see people and live with them: this is a great opportunity that implies humility and respect.

Interests

I would consider myself as easygoing and curly. I'm just 22 so I'll surely catch myself having new hobbies. For the moment I basically spend my time reading all kind of books (poetry, philosophy, history...), hanging around with my friends in pubs or music festivals, writing, sometimes hiking in summer if I get the chance to.
