Hello, I'm Romain. I am a architect assistant in a little agency in Paris and more particularly, I draw all the informatical architectural drawings (plans, 3D, photorealistic rendering etc...) for this agency.
It's a little agency who fully created and renovated big luxury appartments.

Since the age of five, I've always wanted to work in art, design and specially interior space design. I was drawing little houses, little cities and plenty of imaginary worlds with my hands... Since the computer and "computer aidded design softwares appeared in my life, things have changed so much, sometimes it's really wonderful, sometimes not, it depends :)

So I love art and interior space design, also scenography (I have also a degree in scenography, on "set designer" for cinema movies and museography). I really love to spend time on museums, to see beautiful, dynamics and interactives exhibitions, to draw them, to draw inside them and to imagine a story by all these drawings... when you work on design, according to me, I think it's important to be able to invent stories, to have sensibility to the world and many others things

I really love to walk in the city, sometimes I can spend all the day of "non stopping walking", I can start the morning in a city and arrive in a other city the evening which is very far away, for exemple 10 or 15 kilometers... it doesn't matter, i love to walk when weather is good !

I would like and be happy to find friends to share all this things, differents opinions, ideas and more. I think it will be interesting experience to have in life

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to have new steps in my life, I mean, fond to discover new places to visit, new peoples to meet, and to share the journey and precious moments, to get also a lot of great references for life, inspiration for creation, for art and work, and new feelings for the mind, the spirit and brain....

According to me, it's a very good way to be happy in the life

- For the musics :
I really appreciate to listen much songs in radio, pop love and relaxing music, to have a musical background
So for exemples, I like to listen : Coldplay, David Guetta, Ellie Goulding, Enrique Iglesias, Evanescence, George Ezra, Imagine Dragons, Kesha, Lana Del Rey, Maroon 5, Moby, Twenty One Pilots, Usher etc...
I really like all of them

- For the books :
I'm not a big reader, it's a little bit to long for me to read entire book... I prefer pictures and graphicals documents, but sometime when I feel tired, I can read romans... I prefer contemporary or casual history

- For the movies :
I feel very well with Woody Allen movies, like "Midnight in Paris" and "To Rome with Love"
Many others style of movies like "Insaisissables", "The Artist", "Fenêtre sur Cour" etc...

Scientificals televisions documentaries about our world are really interesting to listen, because I love astronomy and the story of univers. Good surprises each time...

I have my principal work in the architecture agency in Paris and sometime, I am going to my last interior space design and scenography school as a teaching assistant to give technical advices to current students to help them to realize their design sets
Is is a really new interesting experience to do

What I Can Share with Hosts

New friends to run in the city, do cultural things, to learn new discussions subjects (society, movies, arts will be really good and many others things...) in a cool way
