ABOUT ME

I spend most of my time singing and playing the guitar, sometimes making short movies, or working as a contemporary choregraph, or drawing things on my skin, or just being calm and happy all day. I also have a french litterature "licence" (this means a third year study diploma, after high school), and also an "Art licence". Romain has a geography "licence" and would like to work in the environnement, trying to save some part of nature or any animal, just trying his best to do something... He's an amazing personn, funny and calm, always wanting to help,just doing his best to make everybody really happy and that's what happens, being happy when you are with him.. he's also a really good music player, and a little shy too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we never had a couch surfing real experience, because we just registered in couchsurfing.com... But once in Copenhagen, Danemark, we just were there in the midle of the night, maybe 3a.m., not having enough money to sleep in a hostel. Then came a guy named Emil who spend one hour through the town looking for youth hostels, and then proposed us to sleep in his flat. He was incredibly nice and even drived us really far so we would have a good place to hitch hike back to France, and was very sad we couldn't stay a couple of days more. I will never forget his spontaneity and kindness.

Interests

we are both really wanting to discover everyplace and personn in this world but it's kind of a long way doing all this.. so we just begin this year travelling through Asia. Romain surprises me each day with the things he knows, from playing all kind of instruments to repairing things (including my own heart sometimes!)I don't think he finds anything boring, except maybe the cartoons i force him to watch in the morning.. I am fond of Art, discovering people, talking, walking, dreaming...

Music, Movies, and Books

the list is kind of infinite.. Romain not being there for the moment I'd say for myself that I really love the music of cocorosie, catpower or devendra banhart, but also love an amazing number of other artists.. I like the movies of Vincent Gallo, so slow and weird and sensitive, or often asian movies, recently felt jealous with Miranda July who did the movie I'd have like to do! books: herman hesse, albert cohen, surrealists poetry like Robert Desnos, and maybe Eluard, and so much in love with Pablo Neruda too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

amazing meetings, people or places, people in any places of the world, surprises in and out of ourselves. Art is always an amazing experience. Meeting each other has been a amazing beautiful thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

we can teach how to play instruments and how to make french bread! (miam miam!)
