Overview
About Me
If you like to play guitar with me, just send me a message.
I appreciate everything I have in life, but I always explore new things and I'm excited about learning in every way.
Berlin is a great place to be, but the community reminds me of all the possibility in the rest of the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In a perfect world, people trust each other and even share their home with foreigners. Couchsurfing is just that.
At a Couchsurfing meetup you don't hesitate to talk to anyone. It's one big family.
Interests
I always look for people to play guitar with.
Every morning I'm excited to get up and learn new things on the guitar.
Also learning new coding related stuff gets me very excited.
Every sport that involves a ball is great, volleyball and football in particular.
I am always open to discovering new sports, most recently bouldering and squash.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm into non-fiction books that teach me how to live a better life, challenge my current assumptions and make me understand the world.
The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday is my bible and I read in it every day.
Malcolm Gladwell's podcast called Revisionist History is also a great source for understanding the world.
Paulo Coelho did get me into reading fiction.
Further books:
The Black Swan, 4 Hour Work Week, A Man's Search For Meaning, The Courage to be Disliked, 12 Rules for Life, Sapiens, Influence, The Almanack of Naval Ravikant, Thinking Fast and Slow.
I am a huge fanboy of John Mayer, especially his album Continuum.
Seeing Coldplay was the best live experience I have ever had.
Further artists:
Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, JJ Cale, Django Reinhardt, Ed Sheeran, Stephen, Scott Matthews, Oasis, Bilderbuch, Tash Sultana, Tom Misch.
Louis CK and Jerry Seinfeld are the two comedians I can't see enough of on YouTube.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
10 days in a Buddhist monastery in France were an amazing experience. It is very much in the spirit of Couchsurfing: You build an instant connection to the people you meet there.
My best experiences are when I disconnect from daily life entirely and just enjoy whatever and whoever I happen to be with.
For example during a multiple day hike with a tent, during music festivals or skiing holidays.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach guitar, German, digital detox, minimalism and positive interpretations.
