About Me

Hi there. I try to be a hopeless optimist in this world and enjoy each moment of my life. Mostly I am successful:) I am 37, single. I am active all my life. I do various sports, like going to the theatre, cinema, relax in a teahouse. I am a teacher in elementary school so as soon as holiday starts I pack my backpack and set out. I have many friends all around the world and some of them told me about couchsurfing. Although I am quite a suspicious person I am into it and I will see.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have recently moved to a new flat (which is not actually new but still has its atmosphere:) I have one room free - actually now I have a kind of place to do my work out there. As I am quite a sociable person I don't like solitude. There is a bunk bed there, so it's a convenient place for one or two people to stay. I like meeting new people and have a nice chat about their countries with them. In my opinion I can also show you some interesting places I know. In winter I can take you skiing or cross country skiing, in summer we can ride a bike. There are 2 clubs in our city :):):) so I can show you our social life in one evening:) As I am a teacher I would be glad if you could come to my school to have a chat with my pupils about your country. Some photos or presentation would be fine. They are from 10 to 15. However there is no need to worry about. If you don't feel like it, no stress:) If I should promote my place I would say: Come here to experience the nature, mountains, calm atmosphere far from the madding crowd, try our local meals and drinks, get to know the unique atmosphere of the region (border between Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland).

Interests

Sports, sports, sports. I have been playing football for our local team. I go running, cross country skiing (went to marathon), mountain biking, roller blading, backcountry skiing, skiing, volleyball, squash, fencing. In our school we have a centre of modern pentathlon and my friend is a coach. May be you could try shooting, fencing or swimming. I am into languages. If you are an Italian, Spanish or French speaker I will listen to your talking all the time as I love the sound of these languages. Hablo un'peu mais capisco mucho:) Nevertheless I am fluent only in English. I like walking in the woods (also at night when you are surrounded just with silence).
