Hallo there, my name is Roman.
I´m new to Couchsurfing and I am very excited about that concept of meeting people all around the world, widining our horizons together! Right now I live in Marburg and study Art, Music and Media for the Bachelor Degree. My main interest in that field is Music and Sounddesign for movies. I love to bring visual worlds alive through Sound and Effects with normal and not so normal (Synthesizer) insruments - look at my great Oldschool Synth behind the computer in my living room :) . Beside that I make a lot of sports, like climbing, slacklining, basketball and swimming. Annother great passion and interest of mine is astronomy. It is just amazing for me to look up at the stars as much as i can and seeing all that emensity all around us - and we are a tiny and rare part of that all - imagine! I still consider going in that direction, but for now i decided to go down the musical path.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

One other big thing for me is to travel and getting connected with all kinds of people and make as much experiences as possible. That is why i am so excited to finally getting started on Couchsurfing. Of course it is a great way to socialize and travel cheap all around the world! It is a opportunity to meet people i else would never meet! Who knows what connections and friendships one can find that way?

Música, películas y libros

As I mentioned above, all kinds of Music from the whole history and diverse regions of the world are inspirations to me. From 1930´s Blues of Robert Johnson to crazy and avantgarde Techno from Aphex Twin. Great inspirations to me are Daft Punk, Boards of Canada, Bonobo, John Butler, Jimi Hendrix, George Benson and so on, i could continue for long - why don´t we just sit down together and listen to music?
I love science fiction movies and try always to find annother favorite, some of great movies i consider: 2001 Odyssey - what else ? ;)
The Man from Earth, Tarantino movies, every movie from Chrstopher Nolan
At the moment i am amazed with Carl Sagan´s Book "Pale blue Dot" annother all time favorite is Paulo Coulho "The alchimist".
