I got a ferry to Le Havre, France, about a month ago on my own and been cycling my way South since then. I recently completed the French portion of my adventure and crossed the border into Spain a few days ago. It's been an incredible experience so far and since I started using Couchsurfing I've had so many more great experiences. I love staying with local people, learning the language (or at least trying), eating traditional food, and generally meeting people who grew up in a completely different environment to me. What I enjoy most though is realising how similar we all are no matter what country we grew up in.

I hope to have similar experiences in my time in Spain. Staying with Spanish people, learning about the country and its culture (and of course most importantly it's food!) as I continue on my cycling tour of Western Europe. Hopefully I'll see you soon!
