ABOUT ME
Open-minded person. I hope to learn from myself in this period of my life. That's why I'm traveling for a few months at the moment. I'm a young human being, who likes to enjoy small things and meeting new people. People with beautiful thoughts and imaginations. I love music and any other great exposure of art, creativity and passion! I'm Roman, a Dutch guy and I want to see the world!

Now, 3 years later, I'm currently living and studying in Amsterdam. I'm participating in the business of art & culture and doing an intern at the 'Rijksmuseum' (greatest museum in the Netherlands!). Studying Cultural Heritage and doing this intern is just the perfect match with living my life in Amsterdam. In my spare time I hang out with friends, see art, go to gigs, and have beers & food around the city. Enjoying the vibes of Amsterdam. Besides, I try to travel when I can to explore more of the world. This summer I'm going to Indonesia (third time) with my girlfriend, to surf and enjoy the goddess islands. I hope to discover the positives of live :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed a lot in Australia and met great people there. Realizing there are always beautiful people who are willing to share, is the best experience ever! Unfortunately not yet being able to 'host', because of my small student appartement. But change will come!

Interests

Having a great chat, surf some waves, playing/listening good music, cooking simple but good food, playing soccer, watching good movies and getting inspired by people and cultures!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled around California one year ago. I did a roadtrip there with my family and it was really 'amazing'.

Traditionally going to the Spain Basque Country every summer with my best friends to check out the surf and have a few weeks of joy and fun in this surf paradise.

Surfed the waves of Bali and had the most beautiful sunrise on top of the volcano of Lombok (Gunung Rinjani).

Discovered Australia by hitchhiking and couchsurfing, and experienced the other side of 'backpacking'.
