Overview
About Me
Hey there!👋
My name is Roman. I am an 19-year-old originally from Ukraine, but for the past 9 years, I have lived in Poland. After graduating from high school, I decided to take a gap year to figure out my next steps in life (and maybe discover a bit more of the world along the way 🌍).
I’m open-minded, easygoing, and always ready for a good laugh.

Unfortunately, I cannot host anyone right now, as I still live in my parents' basement, but I will be glad to meet up and share some amazing moments with people.
PHILOSOPHY
-Every day you should become a little bit better than you were yesterday.
-Life is too short to not live it to the fullest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started traveling on my own when I was 16 years old, and I quickly realized that the most unforgettable memories weren’t just about the places I visited but the people I met along the way. That’s why I’m here — to meet new friends, exchange stories, experience life from a local's perspective, and create memories that last a lifetime.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiked and couchsurfed alone in Morocco for two weeks
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you the basics of chess, help with Polish or Ukrainian language practice, or share some interesting perspectives on history.
Learn: I believe that every person has a unique life experience and can teach me something new or give me an idea that could change my life. So, I’m open to learning just about anything.
Share: I’m always up for a good conversation — from goofy laughs to deep, philosophical discussions. I can also share travel stories, perspectives from growing up in two countries, and maybe even a friendly table tennis match 😉.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am ready to contribute:
Help with chores (cleaning, dishes, or whatever needs to be done).
Language & cultural exchange — If you’d like to learn some Polish, Ukrainian, or just want to know more about life in Eastern Europe, I’m happy to share!
Good company & thoughtful conversations — We can do some fun activities together or just chill with a cup of tea and have a meaningful discussion.
Friendship — I’m not just here for a place to sleep. I’m here to connect, share, and create lasting memories. Even though my travels can get intense, I will try my best to save as much energy as possible for you.
