My full name is Andrej Roman Korenic, some of my friends know me as Andrej, others as Roman. These days I mostly go by Roman. I was born in Sarajevo, but I spent most of my childhood in Edmonton, Canada. My mother tongue is the dominant language of the former Yugoslavia. In addition to that, I also speak fluent English, almost-fluent French, and passable Russian.

For me travelling is less about the specific places that I visit. Rather, it is more about the quality of the interactions that I have with others that I encounter during my journeys. If you're reading this, I hope we can meet someday.

I am a student of religion, meditation, sociology, politics and psychology and enjoy learning about, studying, and discussing topics that relate to any of these dimensions. My interests in these areas are quite broad, although I would say that I have more breadth of understanding than depth.

For books I really love spiritual literature like the poetry of Rumi and Attar's Conference of the Birds.
