ABOUT ME

I am a guy from far North of Russia. Two things which I like to do is to travel and play music.
Within a few years, I have traveled throughout Russia and America and worked there at various jobs (as a journalist, musician, a bartender, a press officer, etc.). I love getting the experience, both physical and spiritual.
I was very inspired by interesting people and authentic culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was in the USA, thanks Couchsurfing, I met wonderful and very interesting people from Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. Almost every one of these people gave me something new and inspired for new achievements (in addition, they get rid me of a cold night on the street!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music. Listen, read, how it was created and compose my own. From native - through Bach - Stravinsky - jazz - psychodelic music of 60's...I like Arctic Monkeys.

Books. Kerouac, Bradbury, Ken Kesey, Nabokov, Kafka, Platonov, Brodsky.

Movies. Vintage: Federico Fellini, Sergio Leone, Tarkovksy etc. My favorite film is a "Dead Man" by Jim Jarmusch!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived one month in the old log cabin with the old man on the edge of the land on the coast of the Barents Sea, where for hundreds of miles around there were no people at all. And I found there an ancient labyrinth.

Go down into the depths of the Grand Canyon in Arizona.
