Overview
About Me
I'm a 21 year old student, currently living in Vienna, but I'm actually from a small austrian village. I study African Studies and Political Science. Recently I had the chance to study one semester in Leipzig, Germany, which was one of the best experiences I ever had. I really enjoyed the international feeling in my Erasmus group with people from all over the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently looking for a place to stay over New Years in Dublin, because I want to go there to meet some of my friends from my Erasmus time in Leipzig there. And I'm not only choosing Couchsurfing because of the money (which is definitely a good reason though), but also because I want to get to know people from the countries I go to. I would also be happy to get some insight facts about the country and I would love to make some new friends and connections all over the world.
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
I have lots of favorite books, but if I had to name one, I guess it would be "Das größere Wunder" from the austrian author Thomas Glavinic.
I normally listen to Indie and Alternative music.
My favorite films would be: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Ascaban, Lord of the Rings, The Pursuit of Happiness, Seven Pounds
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2016 I have been to Niger for six weeks to do a language course at the university of Niamey. It was an amazing experience, because we were staying at guest families, so we could really get to know the people and the everyday life. Although the communication was a bit hard because my French and my Hausa are on a quite basic level, I've stayed in contact with my guest family until now.
