Currently studying in Paris (Social anthropology), I am preparing a trip in Hokkaido (Northern Japan) to live a dream: experiencing life in Japan and meet its inhabitants (Japanese and Ainu :D)! And why not, come across a bear (but not to closely haha)! ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I chose Couchsurfing because I think it is way more exciting and interesting than staying in a hostel : You get to know more about the place you're visiting and can interact and share with the inhabitants! Like Helpx, it is also a great hospitality exemple!

Interests

Music (I'm a bass player) and Cinema are my main interests, as well as experiencing different cultures and countries (one of the reasons why I'm travelling), but I also enjoy outdoors activities like hiking, going to museums, gardening and of course sharing stories and experiences around a good pint!

I don't like a specific kind of music but I mostly listen to Rock, Electro, non-classified-but-cool music : Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Muse, Massive Attack, Alt-j, Tame Impala, ...
I watch a lot of independant movies from all around the world but I love works by David Fincher, Guy Ritchie, Hayao Miyazaki, Iñarritú, ...
I love the Game of Thrones books but one of my favorites would be "Soul mountain" by Gao Xingjian.
