Came from the east to study in Weimar. Lived there for some time and now moved all the way back to Dresden. I live in a flat and have lots of space. :)

If you like to come I can offer you a place to sleep, a tub, some homemade german food (including but not limited to bratwurst with sauerkraut), a tour round the town and a friendly guy to talk to...

Ok, some movies:
"They all laughed" is an all-time favourite. "Local Hero" is great as well. The there's "Brassed off" and finally "3 Days of the Condor".

Books...too many to list. I like Hesse, some of the scandinavian crime stories. Classics like Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler. Liselotte Welskopf-Henrich has to be mentioned, too. These are some islands, but there are many more inbetween those.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

People from another country I've never met personally taking pictures of a building (also in that country) for my uncle who helped in the construction some 60 years ago - that's when the internet is just amazing!

An improvised jazz concert in some private flat one time...it was so great. And though I must have looked somewhat dumb I couldn't help smiling like a pancake the whole time.
