ABOUT ME

Me, that's a 30 year old swiss guy, living in Basel, Switzerland. After school, I did my engineering studies and work now in construction management... that's during weekdays :-)
In the freetime, weekends an hollidays i do basically every outdoor-sport like:
- paragliding (Tandem Paragliding as well, and i am a Paragliding Instructor)
- climbing / bouldering
- hiking / mountaineering
- skitouring
- swimming and mountainbiking
- on hollidays backpacking
- scubadiving

And for relaxing i like the cinema, DVD, Sauna and SPA, and.. and.. and..

More interests are: architecture and history

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I share my couch, try to couchsurf a lot, I join the meetings, try to get the zurich couchsurfing group more sporty active :-)
... and i'd like to meet many people from all over the world :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

AMAZING... I meet so many couchsurfers all the time, always good experience, lot of fun, discussing, partying, climbing, drinking, dancing...

History:
2013:
- Is the year to travel, AND MEEET YOU :-) hopefully on my way
- surfed 2 nights on imre's couch in Berlin :)
- travelled 6 days with corinna and sarah to hovsgol nationalpark in mongolia
- surfed with tania 2 nights in irkutsk, russia
- surfed with marina 3 nights in Irkutsk, russia

2012:
- Surfed with Samuel 10 nights in Shanghai
- Surfed with Ada some night
- Hosted Björn and Andy
- Hosted Alexa

2011:
- i had a busy year working... sadly few time for couchsurfers :-/
- moved within basel and set up THE NEW COUCH

2010:
-Hosted Aleks 10 nights

-Hosted Selin and Aydn 1 night

-Organized the 1th Snowshoeing / Iglo event for 12 Couchsurfers :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the most impressive Moment was a sunrise, 2000m in the mountain, sleeping in an Iglu Snow-House, when the sun started to warm everything, blue sky, silence... was great
