ABOUT ME

I am exiting the "survey" portion of my 20's, and moving steadily into the "doing" years. As of late, I have been making books, attempting to outcook my boyfriend, learning Spanish, and trying to find a full-time teaching job for the fall. With all of these projects, I have had markedly less time for travel than during the survey years, but I still manage to get out of Jet City every now and again. I am an avid language learner, and that is always one of my favorite parts of travel, even within the USA!

PHILOSOPHY

I really like Anthony Bourdain, and his show No Reservations because he travels the way I think everyone should : he is open and he listens, but he is also opinionated, and constantly filtering through his own very biased, unapologetic perspective on the world. I strive for that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the project, but I hope to couch surf on some upcoming trips, and I would like to host during the spring in Seattle.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had many informal couchsurfing experiences, and I have also volunteered on organic farms, and "couchsurfed" while there. One of my cardinal rules as a couchsurfer is that I always do the dishes, so make sure to let em pile up before my arrival!
