I've worked on a construction site at 5.000 MSNM (16.500 feet above sea level).
I've traveled to the Laguna Verde Salar, Chile, located over the 4.000 MSNM (13.120 feet above sea level)
I've visited the lowest point on earth; Death Valley.....HOT!! The weather over there melt your body in a faction of a second...
I've visited Las Vegas when the temperatures reached 46ºC (114,8ºF)!!
