About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying life

ABOUT ME

I'm a curious person. I like meeting new people and finding out about their likes and dislikes, their views on life, what they've seen, what they've done.

I'm a Certified Translator; that's mostly documents and legal stuff; I do occasionally enjoy a subtitling gig or two. I'm a bit of a language nerd, so, of course, I enjoy reading. I also love music. I don't play any instruments, but I love listening to music and going to see live performances, be it a friend's gig or some famous artist's concert. Another thing I'm quite passionate about is football; I like going to the games and watching them on TV.

On top of all of the above, I can´t wait to see the wolrd and what It´s got to offer!

PHILOSOPHY

I just think we need to make the most of life and there´s not a guide on how to do that; it's different for each one of us. For me seeing and experiencing new things is very important. That´s how I remain "alive", that´s how I feed my enthusiasm. Traveling is surely a great way to do it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like meeting surfers and going for a walk, having a chat, sharing a drink. I'm not able to host right now because I live with my family, but I would love to do so once I get my own place.

I did surf myself a couple of times and had a great time. Both hosts were great and I'm happy I've met them. I've also met a few during my travels and hang out; I even got to try some traditional dishes! There are some really good people to meet here, always eager to help, show you around and have a laugh!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Anything by George Orwell (that guy could write!), A Song of Ice and Fire, A Clockwork Orange, Brave New World... Sci-Fi and Fantasy in general, dystopic novels are the best (I'm into comic-books as well!)

Music: Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Cure, The Smiths, The Clash, just to name a few.

Films: Requiem for a Dream, This is England, Watchmen; Sin City, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, (basically anything by Tarantino), etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking on the Isle of Skye. Breathtaking!
Roger Waters' The Wall live in Buenos Aires. Paul McCartney in my hometown, twice! (as I've said, I'm passionate about music).
The sunset on the desert, in Peru. Definitely beautiful.
Seeing my hometown from above on the plane has always been awesome.
Recently, I've fallen in love. Gotta say that's pretty damn cool!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach Spanish, perhaps (at least help someone who's already learning to improve their skills); learn whatever comes my way; share thoughts, experiences and a good time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A nice chat. Surely many questions and hopefully some answers. A drinking mate. Loads of enthusiasm!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, England, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Peru, Scotland
