ABOUT ME

We have been friends for almost 5 years now. We spent 1/3 fighting, 1/3 being friends and 1/3 being a couple. We started as a couple and are still a couple :D. We just couldn't live without eachother. We both love traveling and we enjoy life at it's fullest. We both would like to have our own business one day and therefore we're very motivated in learning what live has to offer. And this includes having a loth of friends who make life more fun. We are interested in high-tech but still love to hang around our family. So what we mean is that we like new things but we will always make sure that our true values come first. So the downsite of that is that we can be a bit stubborn but everyone has a few downsides right :D.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just offer people a couch. But because we are traveling for the moment that is not an option. Further than that we just try to be honest so that the CS community preserves it's good name.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Because we just started couchsurfing we don't have much experience yet but everyone has to start at the beginning right. We had a great experience with Kathy and Reid in San Francisco, they showed us what it's like to not just think about yourself. They showed us that it's not so hard to put someone else's needs before your own sometimes and that it's rewarding.

Interests

Ken: I'm interested in anything that has to do with computers and high-tech. I enjoy playing computergames such as World of Warcraft and many more. Further than I want to learn everything about real estate and make my living of it. Romina: I just like to be around her family, especially my 5-year old sister who I just adore. Futher than that I enjoy reading books and cooking. I learned everything about restaurants and one day I want to open my own restaurant, therefore I'm very interested in different cultures and there food habits,...And if that's not going to be my thing I want to learn small children more about eating habits. I want to be creative and learn them more about food. Most of the children these days don't like vegetables and fruits and I wanne make a difference in that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Romina: I love all Dan Brown books, I love the philosophy behind it and the freedom that's in the story.
We both like "cabaretiers" such as Ralphie May and Alex Agnew. Movies we like are The Green Mile, Blood Diamond, ratatouile, pulp fiction, the cube and American Beauty.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Romina: When my little sister was born...(I lost a brother and that made clear what the most important things in life are and how beautiful it is to see that such a small creature gives you his full trust and love not knowing what the world had to offer or what life will bring)
