About Me

Belgian girl, latina heart, living in the cutest capital of the world - Amsterdam.

Things I love: losing myself in the mountains and woods, salsa and bachata music (listening and dancing), cooking (in a kind of savage way that leaves tomato stains on the ceiling), early morning coffee while contemplating the outside world through my apartment window, the heartbreaking sound of a harmonica, yoga, the wisdom of pre-Colombian and other ancient cultures, indie and folk music, and sooo much more you'll have to discover for yourself!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been on Couchsurfing since 2009, and I have met so many lovely people through it. I think the world would be so much better if everyone stops judging other so quickly, and tried to do a selfless act once in a while. Friendliness and compassion take so little energy and can mean the world to someone in need for it!

Every time I come back from a big trip, I have a hard time adjusting back to life in Belgium. When you travel, you meet so many fun, openminded people, and I miss this vibe a lot when I'm at home. Hosting surfers is my personal cure for this, as it makes my daily life here so much more exciting and interesting. :-)
