About Me

I'm trying to see as much as possible of the planet before stuff melt. I settled a few time ago in Marseille after having traveled the world for a year. I'm working here in eco-generation of electricity and aerospace applications. While I'm doing my best to fit in this new environment, I discovered that the dirty, ratty and sinuous Marseille can even become appealing with the good people and poetic at the right locations...
and yolo!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had an amazing first experience with some friends in Washington DC, where we stayed in a couchsurfing family. Then I couldn't stop to look for hosts in every places I was crossing.

I want to extend this experience, and be able to give what I received so many times, so feel free to ask for my couch if needed. It's a great way to meet some travelers, get some tricks about the area, and be able to find a home when I'm myself on the road. It's really a give and take philosophy !

Interests

Outdoor sports, travel in new areas, animals, photography, mountains, books and... tea. Maybe just life

Music, Movies, and Books

Any movie or book or music that makes me go out of the room thinking differently as i was thinking when i started watching or reading it. Into the wild, La mort est mon métier, Peste et Choléra, On the Road, Mike Horn, The White Tiger, Jack London... Alt-J, José Gonzalez, The Lumineers, The Tallest Man On Earth, Petit Biscuit...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have worked as a vet in a shelter in Bolivia and in a crocodile farm in Tunisia. I had to feed them, cure them and try to escape when they didn't like it. I traveled in Alaska and Yukon passing through Inuvik above the Artic circle bellow the northern lights and inside the gold mines. We met really nice bears there. Building houses in Ecuador orTaiwan and watching whales from my tent at the Cap Horn or from my jacuzzi in Iceland.
I had been counting on the CS community on my way, sometime in remote log cabines and shanty towns: always a bit surprised by where hospitality can be found!
