About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to build myself

ABOUT ME

I am a very enthusiastic and active person(some people might say too much). I try to make the most out of any situation and disregard the not-so-necessary things so if I have enough time to fold my socks together in a week, I must be bore to death!

As a musician (well, just a drummer actually), I love music and try to push it as much as I can. I love sharing musical references and listen to new bands with friends (live or not). I play with different types of band, could be acoustic, indy-folk, rock, indy-rock.
I am also a sport addict. Lately, I have been gaining interest in surfing and spearfishing since I now leave only 15 minutes far from the sea.
Also, some suspicious people might describe me as funny. Well, they must be trustful individuals.

Ho, and my work, I am an oceanographer. I study swell across the oceans!

Interests

Much of the things I tend to provide myself a descent quantity of adrenaline. That must be what leads me to practise sport climbing, even if afraid from the height. Typically, I love to go out in National parks and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Moving to the US, I discovered the art of long-boarding! Not surfing, but skating. It's just like snowboarding, except you don't pay the lift and you can practise all year long. It's just free and whenever you want! On the other hand, the probability to break a bone when you fall is a bit higher, if you're lucky enough not to be ran over by a bus...

Also and should I say, above all, I drum! I try to devote a bigger part of my time to playing music. I learned playing Nirvana and U2's songs and now, I try to find my bearings slowly shifting to more elaborate type of musics (being still very respectful to Nirvana of course!) like Indy-rock, Electro, Jazz.
I used to play in a ban called Intiwatana and we released an album in January 2009 (http://www.myspace.com/intiwatana). As a description, I'd say the style is somewhere between Noir Désir and Radiohead, not as good though of course

In Italy, I had the chance to experience spear-fishing and free-diving. Now that I leave in Brittany, I do it a lot more often and I love it! Just need a thicker wetsuit...

This year, I discovered yoga and dancing. Now, I know I'll try to dance my life as long as I can!
