Hey!

I'm Romy, Dutch, 29 years old and I simply love to travel. In 2016 I traveled in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Bolivia and Brazil and I enjoyed every bit of it. Right now I'm living in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, with my boyfriend and sweet roommates and I teach English here.
I'm into sports! Running, squash, longboarding, playing guitar (or trying) and dancing (salsa, forro, samba) mainly. Good food and good company are two other favorites ;) I like to go out and have a beer/wine/some local brew, dance the night away and meet new people.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

It's an amazing way to meet new people, help each other out and travel the world. My first CS experiences were so great! CS helps me to meet new people and to share experiences :) Generally people from CS did some travelling themselves which makes us at least have one very important common interest. I love it!

Intereses

I'm a runner and salsa dancer! I love learning languages and currently I'm working on my Spanish and Portugese. I go out with friends a lot and I like to spend time with family and other travelers. I travel whenever I can :)

Música, películas y libros

Gotta be honest, I enjoy chatting over a beer and dancing more than reading or watching a movie. Whenever I read, I just read whatever is in front of me haha... generally Dutch romans. I enjoy many types of music like top40, salsa, house/electro, jack johnson-like, acoustic guitar and happy soul music are my favourites. Quite enjoying the latin music too!
