I am a junior at the University of Florida majoring in Anthropology with a minor in creative weriting and sustainability. I'm involved in many volunteer organizations trying to help Gainesville, and our planet become more sustainable and healthier for everyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed a fe couches while I was in Germany last summer and look forward to expanding my couch surfing experience in the future years.

Interests

Anything outdoors, hiking, rock climbing, canoeing, tennis, golf, cooking(though I am not very good), learning languages, volunteering to make the world a better place, eco person and traveling the world. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I try to read a lot, between school, work and everything else, there isn't much time. From Jane Austen to Kurt Vonnegut to Jasper Fforde and many places in between. Music to me is like oxygen. I don't like rap, country or techno, but most rock, punk or old school I'll give a chance. Harry Chapin is my man.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While there have been many extraordianry monuments, buildings, and natural phenomenon I've sen in my life, I have to say spending time with wonderful friends, wherther it be hiking in the Smokies or touring through Berlin have been the highlight of my life.
