Overview
About Me
I've been a software engineer for 28+ years and still counting. I have decided to turn to a life of limited technology and pursue my love of photography, music, nature, and culture. I've been divorced for 9 years. I have 3 children, all married, with 2 grand-children. Since everyone is doing well, I have decided to put all my things in storage and photograph the world. I will be working part-time whilst traveling for a software company about 4 hours a day. This gives me the rest of the time to do what I want.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm interested in couchsurfing to meet interesting people. I'm also interested in making my budget stretch as far as it possibly can. I have no problems paying for my stay. It's just better to make new friends.
Since I'm closing my apartment and putting everything in storage, I can't host anyone right now. One day, I will definitely return the favor.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm super eclectic in music, movies, and books. I usually have 4 books going at once so I can feed my insatiable curiousity about life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Guatemala for a year and opened a call center. This was an extremely rewarding experience. I not only accomplished the task under budget, but within the short time-frame I had. I worked with interpreters, engineers, taxation, suppliers of every sort, to accomplish the task. I met both the very rich, and the very poor and loved every minute of it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Not sure what to put here, but I love to teach what I know. I'm willing to learn and grow from the experience, and I definitely want to share my experiences with others through my photography, video blog, and my writing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Wow... that's a tough one. I've done a lot in my life and willing to share what I have. I'm educated, trained, and extremely communicative. I'm open to all religions, race, or creed provided those people promote peace, health, and prosperity for all people.
