Hello there! I’m a welder/custom metal fabrication specialist in search of more in this beautiful world of ours. I’ve worked for my father for 15+ years and created a wide array of metalwork. I realize the time is now for me to travel and find my own place to start my own shop and life somewhere different than what I’ve become so used to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My girlfriend and I are traveling around the majority of the US starting in October. We’ll be staying with friends and family, camping, and using Airbnb from time to time. Couchsurfing looks like it will save us some money but also give us a chance to meet a lot of incredible caring people! By the end of the trip we’ll be deciding where we want to start our new life, any tips from actual locals will give us some great insight!!

Interests

Tang Soo Do for 22 years, skateboarding for 20, snowboarding for 11, hiking for 15 years. As long as I’m outdoors I’ll be happy!

Music, Movies, and Books

I was brought up on classic rock and still appreciate it more than the majority of what’s out there. The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Doors...big Sublime fan. Newer music would be Beck, Gorillaz, Radiohead, anything I can groove to!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Here’s two: created a 4SeasonAdventureRack called the ShredyRack, it focuses on optimal storage and use for your small car, holding skis/snowboards/bikes/kayaks/surf and paddle boards. It’s yet to reach the market but will be soon enough.

I’m also a 3rd degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do, and have been training/teaching for 22 years.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to be able to fit a small welding setup in my car where I can potentially teach some welding lessons. I can also give beginner or more advanced martial arts lessons for anyone willing to learn!
