Overview
About Me
Hi, my name's Ron. I'm a 27 year old engineer who has studied all around the world and have had incredible adventures as a result!
I want to return the favour! :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to find two (more if you're willing to share rooms) hilarious and adventurous backpackers who are after some free accommodation in Karratha over the next couple of months (until March 20th). I hate living by myself and love having others around me. Fun, educated, capable and interesting internationals are some of the best!
All I need you to do to stay with me is to respect my professional worklife (needs to be quiet after 10 on weeknights and ) and fully take on some house duties and other random tasks I give you :D and I'm expecting full enthusiasm!
I would love it if you were athletic and very, very active. A gym buddy is always a great find :)
Interests
Tons of stuff!
I'm a nerd. I love science. I love space, astronomy, the private space industry.
I'm in to economics and I find supernatural belief (religion, pseudoscience, etc.) fascinating, only because it's so absurd! If you're devoutly religious, it's probably a bad idea if you stay with me :D
I'm also trying to not drink very much as well but I'll still join in on the fun occasionally :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Right, so everyone hates my music. I'm in to lots of stuff, but the things I listen to most are kind of electronic dance music and trancy stuff. I guess I find it calming when I'm thinking and working. It helps me concentrate.
I read lots of books as they rock. Currently I'm reading three and one of them is absolutely sensational and it's called "Physics for Future Presidents".
My favourite series of books ever is the Legends of Dune series. Utterly amazing and they're here on offer if you stay.
Favourite movie? Do you even need to ask? Star Wars obviously.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tons of epic shit over the years.
I ran a Burning Man camp in 2013 and our big gift was a free return flight to Australia for the most deserving person we could find. It was amazing and they had the best Australian travel experience I've ever heard of. Here's the blog they wrote!
