I've been an avid reader since I was little. I'm always researching and studying some topic of interest, and then sharing with others things that I've learned. I have a degree in Computer Engineering Technology and am always interested in how we can use science and technology to improve our lives. It's also important to nurture our spiritual side, seeking balance within ourselves, and in relation to Mother Earth.

It's a good way to meet fun and interesting people, and a nice alternative to staying in corporate run hotels

I've studied many religious and spiritual paths throughout my life. I care deeply about the environment. I have been a public speaker for over 20 years on these topics. I have also climbed for over 20 years, sport and trad, and climbed a number of mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Avatar, The Matrix, The Fountain, Way of the Peaceful Warrior. Books: The Perennial Philosophy, The Road Less Traveled, The Celestine Prophecy. Music: Listen to various styles on Pandora, it all depends on my mood. On road trips, some music is definitely more suitable than others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was at Serpent Mound in Ohio for a near total eclipse in 2017 with probably a couple thousand people. Good energy and a feeling that a big shift is underway.

Teach, Learn, Share

I study Egyptology and do some presentations on that, as well as presentations about the environment, and spirituality.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good fun, intelligent conversations, sharing of experiences. If needed, I can cook some pretty delicious dishes also. I have computer, technology skills that often serve useful. I did tech support for over 8 years.
