Born and raised in quiet peaceful safe Connecticut, living in Tijuana for the past 3 months which is none of those things but it’s building character 🤣 Really big into linguistics since I started learning German 6 years ago, then Swedish, then decided I should learn a useful language so I planned on joining the military as a linguist but my student loans were a security risk or something so I couldn’t get the security clearance and didn’t join.. actually I did join anyway as a mechanic but it was horrible so we don’t talk about that, immediately afterwards very desperate for travel I moved here to Tijuana (why Mexico? because Spain is too far away), in Playas to learn Spanish so I can officially call myself a polyglot (my definition is 4 languages). Next year I want to teach English somewhere in Mexico and then I’m getting out of here, but I do like it for now.
