Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My biggest passion has been traveling since I was young and especially since I could leave with my own passport!

I think CS is a fantastic idea for the local information you would never hear at the tourist office!

The other fact is that you have made a friend for life and the opportunity to visit the people you put up in your house, endless possibilities! :D

Interests

I love playing sports or anything to do with the great outdoors. I am regularly involved in hurling, jogging, weight lifting and cycling. In my past iv rowed competitively, played rugby, skiing, dabbling in any type of sport really.

I love music festivals, nights out, going for dinner.. anything really that brings two or more people together :)

I love visiting scenic places and nothing beats a clear night out and a fantastic display of stars. One thing on my bucket list is to head very north (Iceland/Finland/Norway) and go to see the aura borealis!

My significant other half is food and drink :D Tasting new foods is one of my favourite things to do, as well as good coffee and world beers. I'm still trying to put my finger on my favorite wine, hopefully you can help me out :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy movies, more on the crime/thriller/comedy/action side but I never write off any film until I see it.

I like all types of music, every genre has their gems. Hip hop and rap are my deep roots, I grew up with it. Anyone from Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Kendrick Lamar, Flatbush Zombies, Killer Mike, Ice Cube to A Tribe Called Quest, Run the Jewels, EL-P, Big L, Outkast, Wu Tang Clan, Mos Def, Nas, NWA, Dilated Peoples, ASAP Rocky.. the list could go for days!
I also love house and techno and everything electronic in between from Modeselektor, Ben Klock, Bicep, Jamie Jones, Hot Chip, Frankie Knuckles, SBTRKT, Chic, Kerri Chandler, Caribou to name a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen fairy penguins waddle from the beach shore into their nests up on the beach on Phillips Island, Australia.
Went cliff diving in Lake Tahoe, California.
Walked across the highest 2-story bridge in the world, Petronas Towers in Malaysia.
