ABOUT ME

Hi!, My name is Ronan. I live in Cork City in the south of Ireland. Music is my life and I have been writing, recording, and performing my own music(and sometimes other people's) since I was about 9 years old. I am kind of a "jack of all trades, master of none". I'm a music producer/audio engineer and I also sing, and play some guitar and bass. I speak pretty good Spanish (although I am a bit rusty), and I have been know to teach it from time to time. I enjoy a night out with good live music and a few drinks :) I am the second youngest of 5 children (2 brothers/2 sisters). We are a very close family :) I like people who are genuine, funny, easy-going, passionate about life, open-minded, and have a love of music, films, art, and books! : )

I try to get the most out of life by surrounding myself with inspirational people, places, music, books, films, etc. I think these elements make life worth living and help you to be as happy and creative as you can in the short time you have.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to think that I am a hospitable person. I love conversation and showing people the best restaurants, bars, and places of interest around the city. I know the value of having a connection with someone local when you visit a new city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I Couchsurfed with three guys who shared an apartment in NY when I visited with a friend in Nov 2009... I could not have had a better introduction to Couchsurfing. The guys where so hospitable and the best fun ever. We hung out all week and I like to think that by the end of the trip they became good friends. They made NY feel like a home in the short time we were there. We still keep in touch and I hope to see them again in the near future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to America in November 2009 has been the highlight of my life so far... We went to Boston, NYC (incredible!!), and Portland (Oregon) where I got to see the Pacific Ocean for the first time in my life : )
