ABOUT US

We have been living in London for 2 years, and loving it!

We enjoy meeting new people, going for drinks, and are avid foodies. In Canada we even hosted a monthly Iron Chef Battle dinner party.

We love to travel just to try new things and have new experiences and learn about other cultures!

In London, we live in a flatshare so are currently unable to host,but send us a message and we will likely meet up for a cheeky drink!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think this is a fun way to meet people, go for drinks, and have some laughs.

Even if we are unable to host from time to time, we are always looking for something to do in the evenings, and enjoy getting together with like minded people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We started our couch surfing experience while in Japan and had a great time (we were stuck without hotel reservations for 3 days and had to figure something out- and very glad we did). We're just social people and like to meet people along the way!

Since then we have enjoyed couchsurfing from time to time, when we want to get away and not break the bank, or when we want to immerse ourselves in the area and meet new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One? Only one?

Sailing the Croatian islands and getting stuck in a storm, in a boat that has seen better days.

Spent three months living in Hawaii and loved every minute of it. LOVED IT!

Our trip to Veracruz Mexico was amazing- exploring the mountains, the culture, the coffee, and the food.

Climbing a mountain in the jungles of North Sumatra, getting up close and personal with wild orangutans, and climbing an active volcano with sulphurous jets.

Our trip through Japan was one of the best 'life changing' experiences I've ever had. I highly recommend spending some time in Japan.

The list of future trips is long and diverse- but we will get there.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ron is an amateur photographer and doesn't mind teaching people some tricks.

He is also an experienced chef and loves to cook.

Dominique is a spa manager and skin therapist that enjoys getting to know people all over the globe.

She has also started making chainmaille jewelry and is like a magpie, always on the lookout for shiny things.

We are both always looking to learn and experience new things.
