ABOUT ME

I'm a 27 year old guy from the Irish countryside, a few miles from Kilkenny (the town, not the beer!!).

I'm an easy-going and very optimistic person and love learning about other cultures.

Languages are my passion! I studied German and Linguistics at Trinity College in Dublin and loved it! Specifically I studied the relation between language and thought and how language and culture continually influence one another. Wacky stuff, but these are the things that keep me awake at night ;)

Now I'm working as a German & French -> English translator in Cork.

I also spent a year in beautiful Tübingen in Germany on the Erasmus exchange programme, which was the greatest year ever! :)

I love the German way of life, the weather, the people, the cities, the hills and forests, the beer... but not the sauerkraut!!
