Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on coushsurfing because I'm convinced that it's one of the best way to meet new friends who will help you to understand the country that you visit.

People can give you some really convenient tips. For instance, I remember when i was in Dubai, I was couchsurfing and my host told me "if you want to get a cheaper taxi, you just need to cross the road and to go behind the mall" This trick helped me to save a lot of money.

Besides, If you want to settle in a country, couchsurfers can help you. When I am arrived in Auckland, I could not understand any words because of the kiwi accent. So once again my host help to get a new mobile phone , to call people to get a job ... It would have been impossible to start my life in New Zealand without him.

At last but not least, couchsurfing will give you the keys to visit the best places, where the tourists don't go because it's not written in the books. They will share with you their favorite restaurants, they will tell where to go to be mesmerised by a beautiful sunset and where you can listen some music in a friendly bar.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's quite difficult to describe all the movies that i love but if you want to talk about cinema we can easily !

What about the music? Well, I am crazy about rock music i like old and new style. I love discovering new bands as well. I try to attend gigs as much as possible to watch big or small artists. However i'm really open-minded and i try to listen all kind of music ( Saoul, classic...) That's why i always have my i pod next to me.

Moreover i played the clarinette for 10 years and the drums during 2 years. It was nice but took me too much time and i had to quit. Today, i would like to learn the piano.

I don't read so much anymore but I am still always really interested by american leterature such as authors like : Steinbeck, Kerouac, Hemingway, Salinger ... even though i really like some french authors as well : Boris Vian, Victor Hugo...
