Hi, I am Ronen! (*Currently Living in Ottawa*!) *My profile is a work in progress and so is my life*

I come from multiple countries including Uruguay, Israel, Canada, and Poland. I speak multiple languages and my favourite past time activity is literally sitting down and talking about the world from whatever angle I see fit in a given moment, but preferably over a beer (although I want to lose some belly fat). Be it Philosophical, economics, psychology (probably my favourite angle), mindfulness and wellbeing, emotions, and love and relationships.

I have many interests but very few raw passions. I am hoping to eventually develop at least one passion that I can dedicate effort and lots of works towards. UPDATE (after years of inactivity in Couchsurfing): I developed a career as diplomat and one of my raw passions has become diplomacy, even more specifically to negotiate agreements in a multilateral context where there are delegates from so many countries and culture. I love to try to win them over and the general chaos involved!!

Love sports, I play Soccer, Volleyball, Waterpolo and Squash.

Love to go out to social events, dance parties, nightclubs, artsy events, museums.

Love to explore cities and towns, find hidden gems, and let the sense of adventure and spontaneity lead the way.

I enjoy multicultural interactions and languages. I speak 5 languages right now, they include English, Spanish, Hebrew, French, and Portuguese.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

My work has been generous enough to let me take 4 months of work to travel the world from May to September 2023! I will meet friends in some parts of the trip and will be solo in other sections. Would love to meet people to get an authentic experience from wherever I will be!

Would love to meet someone new in whatever area I happen to be in. I want to learn about places by getting to know their people, if its by hosting, meeting up or surfing.

I really see Couchsurfing as a community hub for people with an overarching sense of wanting to have a global community.

Adventures and experiences are my main interests. Anything that can be categorized as a good experience I probably enjoy doing or trying. Open your mind to the freedom of the latter sentence.

I have lived in a lighthouse in an island (Quirpoon) of Northern Newfoundland for 4 months.
